Pan-Seard oven – Finished sausages
Ingredients
- 1kg Choice Meats halal sausages.
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Fresh Tomato (Sliced for garnish)
- Fresh Parsley/Coriander (For garnish)
- ¼ cup water or broth.
Equipment
- Oven-safe skillet/Pan (cast iron preferred).

- Tongs.
Instructions
- Prepare: Slice or pierce the raw sausages lightly with a knife (as seen in the video) and preheat your oven to 185^C
- Sear: Drizzle a pan with oil and heat it over medium-high heat. Place the sausages in the pan and sear them, turning occasionally, until they develop a light golden-brown color
- Steam: Reduce heat to medium-low. Carefully add ¼ cup water or broth to the skillet. Cover with a lid and steam for 5-7 minutes to cook through, ensuring juices stay locked in.
- Finish in Oven: Remove lid to evaporate any remaining liquid. Transfer skillet to preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Remove sausages, let rest for 2-3 minutes, then serve hot.
